After attending class together at Montana State University in 2016, Ian Grant and Charlie DeCler worked together on a summer painting crew in Bozeman who stained numerous wood homes. They found the work to be rewarding and building customer relationships to be gratifying. In 2019, after years of working and studying together, the friends founded Bobcat Painting. The team found great success in wood home staining in SW Montana leading to the birth of Bobcat Painting's more oily brother company... Bobcat Staining LLC.

Bobcat Staining LLC was created with the goal of working alongside homeowners in SW Montana to preserve, protect, and restore their wood homes. We've learned to adapt our staining technique and process for each unique home in order to ensure a seamless and immaculate finished product.
